Imperial Decree #446: The Reclaimation Phase 5.

Now that we have Dukes. The Landsraad is called back to session. As there seems to be a lack of Praetor/Deputy for the time being. I'll do the job, till we can finish the election we had going.

If nobles fail to vote regularly, as they have been doing prolifically lately, I will downgrade the title of their House. If they can't be downgraded, I'll remove lands.
Conversely, Houses that vote regularly may be rewarded with more lands, money or titles, depending on the situation.

Now.. Onto the law section

The Decreebook shall be altered as follows.

DB: II. B.
Current:
Quote:

2: Line of Succession
a. If the former Kaiser has not appointed an heir, the throne passes to the highest person on the Line of Succession, which is as follows:
1. Erik of Brookshire
2. Nick of Yardistan
3. Scott of Hyperborea
4. Mike of Lakhesis
5. Greg of Amity and Mirioth
b. A person on this list may accept the throne only if they are a full citizen of Shireroth. Upon receiving the throne, a person on this list must resign all other citizenships. If a person cannot be contacted within three days, is not a citizen, holds the office of Arbiter, refuses the throne, or does not wish to resign other citizenships, the throne passes to the next person on the list.

b. If a single house cannot be determined from this process the Landsraad must decide from amongst the remaining houses.
c. Once the Kaisership has been granted to a particular house, that house may decide which of its members shall become Kaiser, by any means they choose.
d. If a house has no available individual, no individual eligible for the Kaisership, or declines the throne, then the Kaisership shall pass to the next eligible house based on the previous provisions.
e. A house has 4 days to choose from amongst it's members who shall be Kaiser before the Kaisership will pass to the next eligible house.

Strange. Perhaps. But why not use the system to it's fullest!
