Imperial Decree 440

Steward Decree #440: Budget.

This decree is to instruct all ministers that they are encouraged to look to the needs of their ministries and bring forth needed projects to help in the betterment of the nation. Some ministries will find this easier then others I do admit. These projects are to require the services of citizens and their skills to complete. These projects should attempt to bring various citizens into the inner workings of the ministries if possible.

To assist in finding talent for these projects, ministers are to pay for the services. Each minister shall go before the Landsraad and request a sum of money to be transferred from the Imperial Treasury into an account for their ministry.

The following accounts and sums already exist in the system:

The Landsraad has the following at this time, which includes only a small amount of the current taxes owed: Shirithian Imperial Treasury 12641.23

The ministers may pay themselves a modest salary from the amount requested from the Landsraad.

The Landsraad is also requested, in this budget, to allocate funds to pay the Imperial Arbiter, Assistant Arbiter(if there is one), and the Praetor of the Landsraad.

I remind the Landsraad we need enough remaining to give bounties (which could be worked into the budget), and give money to new citizens. (at 2k erb each we can afford 6 new cits at the moment)

It is my hope that this will not become a one time occurrence, and that the Landsraad shall pass, a budget on a recurring basis.

Some ideas I had for some minstries: MiniInt commission/pay those involved with developing alternate forum schemes.
MiniInfo Wiki articles (I know, you already do this).
MiniImNat maybe someone to compile old census info. (this is where Ari and I disagree on the Census)
MiniEx hire someone to go through our various treaties and sort them out, figure out what is still active and what isn't. Maybe have all ambassadors write reports on their nations. Pay the SC rep.
MoMA ..okey.. I got no idea I admit.
MiniTrade hire someone to sort out the accounts in the bank so that everyone is in the right subdivision. (They would need to be trusted as it would require them to have access to a National account)

I would love more/better ideas.

Oh and someone give Harvey a bounty for trying to do various things that didn't work, but were worth the effort and time. (don't hate me Harvey!)
