Imperial Decree #408: Concerning Awards, which are suddenly deemed a crucial matter of state

Ardashir Piroz Aurangzeb al-Osmani-Steffki, by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Kaiser, Khan of Vijayanagara, Earl of Alalehzamin, to his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the gods of Shireroth undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place granted to Zurvan this Ordinance which by his Kharenah is confirmed for us and our heirs forever.

1.0. Where the Kaiser Enjoys the Prerogative to Be Contrary in Nature, or Contrary to Nature, and we are never entirely sure which it is
1.1. When we said "Nobody wins prizes this Vanchauslurk" we advise the nation to consider;
1.2. That we lied;
1.3. Because whereas the Landsraad attempted to pass resolutions to force our hand with regards to certain proposals;
1.4. We never did say that we actually disapproved of said proposals;
1.5. And indeed it has been our contention that a good deal of aggravation could have been avoided if the late lamentable resolution had been to suggest names rather than impose them;
1.6. After applying the veto we did say that we would consider those named in the resolution as being nominated for said awards;
1.7. So we have considered them;
1.8. And after due deliberation we consider the nominations to be eminently appropriate.
2.0. Vanchauslurk Honours
2.1. Ari Rahikkala shall be inducted into the Order of the Dragon for his exceptional service to the infrastructure of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth;
2.2. Greg Russell is hereby awarded the Golden Swan for his work with the County of Minroth Amity and So-Sara;
2.3. Cho'Gall is hereby awarded the Silver Swan for his Ohl'Tar Apocalypse Cycle;
2.4. Isabell Allot is hereby awarded the Bronze Swan for "her" services to Elwynnese activity, the Landsraad (ironically enough) and the Ministry of the Exterior;
2.5. Leo Dine is hereby awarded the Bronze Swan for his services to weapons of mass destruction and the imaginative use thereof.
3.0. The Order of the Gold Sword and the Victorious Golden Nixon
3.1. The Order of Gold Sword and the Victorious Golden Nixon shall remain in being to annoy Erik and so that, should he ever attain the Mango Throne again, the Marquess of Shirekeep will be able to point to at least one solid achievement in his entire reign if he remembers to undo our decrees which promulgated this esteemed order.
4.0. Enabling Clause
4.1. Any further issues arising from this shall be clarified by Imperial Rescript, deriving authority from this decree.
