Imperial Decree 298
By the Grace of Elwynn, the Kaiser of Shireroth, unto the Gods of the Divine Census, to the People of Shireroth, and to all and sundry, declares that the term "Elk" is not only a perfectly valid substitution for the Moose, but should also be preferred by European Shirerithians
However, should a North American (excluding European territories in North America) referr the Moose as an Elk (indeed, an Elk is something quite different in North America), he or she will be liable to a fine of 1 erb. All fines will be paid into a special fund to further literacy among the Elk-Moose population of Shireroth.
