Imperial Decree #243[a] - The Treaty of Alcyon

This accord is to be enacted in all bounds and quarters of our realm:

The Treaty of Alcyon

Preamble

THE IMPERIAL REPUBLIC OF SHIREROTH and THE REPUBLIC OF ANTICA, having found their interests to be congruent, and desirous of peace and prosperity for and between both nations, hereby agree to form a treaty of friendship and support, the Treaty of Alcyon, in order to guide the reestablishment of positive relations between the two nations.

ARTICLE 1: Land

Section A. The Imperial Republic of Shireroth cedes the counties of Skiron, Mesoun, Platea, and Jaris (except for the island and city of Melangia) to the Republic of Antica.

Section B. The County of Kaikias is to be divided according to the diagram in the appendix.
All territory to the south and west of the demarcation line is ceded to the Republic of Antica. The remainder will continue as the County of Kaikias, with a new capital designated after the enactment of this treaty by the Count of Kaikias."


ARTICLE 2: Reconciliation

Section A. A Board of Grievances may be called into existence by either the Imperial Republic of Shireroth or the Republic of Antica should a dispute between the two countries form that is incapable of resolution by conventional methods
....(1) When called into existence, each country shall appoint three representatives each for the duration of its operation
....(2) The appointment method will be left to each country to decide separately.

Section B. The Imperial Republic of Shireroth pledges to work towards establishing trade with the Republic of Antica in the event that an economy is formed within Shireroth.
....(1) The Imperial Republic of Shireroth agrees to allow the unrestricted movement of personnel and goods by The Republic of Antica through the territory of Kaikias under Shirerithian control. Antica agrees to the same in Antican controlled Kaikias for Shirerithian personnel and goods.

ARTICLE 3: Everything Else

Section A. THE IMPERIAL REPUBLIC OF SHIREROTH and THE REPUBLIC OF ANTICA reaffirm their recognition of each other's sovereignty and territory, and pledge not to attack each other except for agreed-upon recreational warfare

Section B. As a measure of goodwill, THE IMPERIAL REPUBLIC OF SHIREROTH and THE REPUBLIC OF ANTICA both agree to allow either nation to rescind this treaty by whatever means standard in either micronation.

Appendix.

(Ar. 2, Sec. B)

There is one difference between this treaty and the one that Nicodemus had signed in. Nothing. Other than that though, the treaty is the same. I must apologize to Antica for this taking so long, but my personal issues prevented me from being active in micronations.
