Imperial Decree #193: Our Unannexable Citizen

On this day, Arisday the 9th of Anandjan, under the sight of Homer (to whose divine portfolio of slacking and poetry I must attribute the absence of a God of Annexation. For shame) it is hereby decreed:

The self-proclaimed "unannexable citizen", Dementi Celeste is hereby annexed for her hubris. However, while it was indeed hubris that motivated her to commit self-sovereignty-related harikari, it was admirable hubris. Thus, she is hereby annexed to the Duchy of Brookshire, making this their first annexation, if I am not very much mistaken. Let this be a lesson to the Duchess, and to all Shirerithians: You can be annexed, much like a common letterbox or back garden tree. Be forewarned.
