The Badbakhti Sea, also known as Lake Leys, is a salt lake located in the southwestern quarter of Eura. The lake is an endorheic basin, essentially a closed body of water with no continual outflow, and where water is eliminated by evaporation. In an endorheic basin, rain (or other precipitation) that falls within it does not flow out but may only leave the drainage system by evaporation and seepage. The bottom of such a basin is typically occupied by a salt lake or salt pan. Due to the lakes high saline concentration (about 20%) the local environment is not favorable to plants or animals, leaving the area looking much like a barren wasteland.
