I must say I support Greg in this. Even if only for a little while and in the hope that eventually something else happens that stops MASS from being a Duchy later on.

Yardistan is dying. It was the last outpost of crazy random rebelliousness for a long time, and now it's ninety-five percent of the way to being just another Duchy. The sort where there's a rebellion and they all get kind of upset and come in asking the Kaiser to please do something in accordance with such-and-such a section, such-and-such a paragraph, of the lawbook.

I don't have too many delusions that MASS would reverse that trend, but it can't possibly be less painful to watch than the current situation.

I'd like to sit back and watch this, actually...

Yardistan has bloody well lost it's edge, but don't accuse the current generation of Yardistanis as not being Yardistani at all. Who have we had for guidance? No one, 'cept Jacobus, and he isn't Yardistani, he's just... well, Jacobus.

No, we've lost the legendary Yardistani pizazz, and Greg has not come back to liberate Yardistan from its own lack of direction but instead to divide it.

I could return to Yardistan. I am one of the Original Yardistani (as I was there at the creation of it)
