1. That Greg is revolting in the Barony of the United Isles.
2. That "If there is a revolt in a Barony, it is the duty of the Duke or Duchess to suppress it, although the imperial government will help it asked" (Lawbook Chapter III ("Nobles") Preparation H).
3. That no one has asked for help yet.

I must say I support Greg in this. Even if only for a little while and in the hope that eventually something else happens that stops MASS from being a Duchy later on.

Yardistan is dying. It was the last outpost of crazy random rebelliousness for a long time, and now it's ninety-five percent of the way to being just another Duchy. The sort where there's a rebellion and they all get kind of upset and come in asking the Kaiser to please do something in accordance with such-and-such a section, such-and-such a paragraph, of the lawbook.

I don't have too many delusions that MASS would reverse that trend, but it can't possibly be less painful to watch than the current situation.
