Let's rewrite the Landsraad procedures again, yay!

Post by Ari Rahikkala »

We're still going to need to do some rewriting... the current procedures and some discussion on them can be found at http://shireroth.kuroshiro.net/forum/vi ... f=4&t=8331. I'll summarise the bits that needed clarification that were identified here... plus there's one more thing I'll have to add...

- Some things, like the MCS claims / claim restrictions, honorary citizenships and so on, are really difficult to put in the LawBook, and so far we haven't even tried even though the procedures clearly say that what the Landsraad does is pass legislative changes. We need to either start finding places for everything in the LawBook or define a name and procedure for passing things that won't go in it.

- The permissions for ministers to present bills for voting has to be clarified to smooth out things like bringing treaties to be ratified. In my mind, being able to present bills comes naturally with being able to vote, not being able to speak, so ministers will need special permission.

- the economy will need to written into the new procedures, I guess, assuming people still stubbornly want to try it... (I'm not trying to be hostile here, I just personally believe that micronational economies don't work :p)

- the "one thread, at most one bill" rule will have to be clarified. The treaty with Alexandria bill was edited after posting, and as always, it's confusing everyone.

Hey-

If we use Hasan's voting system, Yardistan has 580 erb. Add that to Kildare's 360 = 940 erb.

All of the other Duchies together equal 755.

So who wants to vote on who the Landsraad supports as Kaiser?

If the economy is adopted, I would accept the decisions made by it so long as they were within its abilities.

I think the economy sucks, but if it is adopted will you swear allegiance to me?

Do you love the economy more than you loathe me?

What changes will be made to the economy then? Where can I find them?
