Steven K is a friend of Eoin and myself from Ireland. He was in the Barony of Treesia (an old micronation) under the names Sir Stephen and sometimes Sir Ophiuchus. After Treesia died, he joined Shireroth for a few weeks, but never really got into it. He is a cool guy and I can vouch for him not being an axe murderer or anything.

Steven arrived in San Francisco a week or so ago. He wants to experience life in America, and is thinking of staying there pretty long-term. He currently has no place to live, no job, and no friends there.

If any of you want to meet a real live Irishman and make him feel welcome in the States, I'm sure he'd appreciate any help he can get. And if you're looking for roommates or you know of a job opening, that'd be cool too.

Several of us live in Fremont or San Jose, and we'd love to see you. Welcome to the Bay Area. (Sorry the hills are not green as they are in Ireland; this will change in time for Christmas, after the rain returns.)

That's why I try to warn them before they arrive that is is normal, and we don't have rain from May to October or November. It usually blows their minds.
