I
Vilhelm von Benkern as Chairman of the A.P.T.S.
An admirable and worthy cause, Jacobus, but one that I feel would be pointless at this time. I reject my nomination.
You see, all attempts that I make to "bring Shireroth back to life" are to get the real Shirerithians interested. My goal is to get those that have set the ball rolling back, if possible (obviously not above any RL commitments or wishes of said persons). I am not here to run Shireroth, I am not here to Chair a Preservation Society, I am not here to draw out the death of this great nation. If I didn't feel that there was a chance of revival, I wouldn't bother.
If the Shirerithians themselves have no hope, or do not wish or simply do not have the time to rebuild Shireroth, then it is over. And we must gladly accept this, that at long last Shireroth's story is at an end. However, this end is not today. I know a large amount of Shirerithians care about Shireroth. Enough to bring it back. However I also know that commitments and other things have prevented them from doing so. In conclusion; you and I, Jacobus, must sit tight, do what we can when we can, try not to impose on our gracious hosts and be happy that we might one day be able to say "I was there the day Shireroth became great again!"

"Tis not a leaving of a harried knave/Tis not with tail tucked in shame/Rather in glorious exhibition of benevolent might/Sun bids the world an emblazon g'night."
