Imperial Republic of Shireroth Emigration Form

Section one: general

* What is your name? (or alias)
Erik Metzler (Erik Mortis Brookshire)

* What is todayate?
18 March 2006 (Ifniday Ifnin 4th)

Section two: optional information

* What is your reason for leaving?
I've had enough of Shireroth. I thought maybe I could change the degeneration of law and culture. But the atrition of societies can only be stopped by the end of said society and the creation of another in its place. And the degredation of the ideals of Shireroth are to far engrained in the current population.

Further. I've outgrown Micronations. I find them childish and petty. A part of a life I'm leaving behind and should have given up long ago. I have a real life to get on with, real social life to advance and a REAL future in the real world.

* Do you plan on joining another micronation after Shireroth? If so, what nation?
No. I'm leaving micronation

* On the whole, would you consider your experience at Shireroth a positive one?
Not anymore. People who have left are right, for various reasons. I thought I could change things, but I can't. Not anymore... No one will let me even try, and the universe too seems to be against me... So While I once loved Shireroth. Now I hate it. I hate what it has become, and what it does to me. I hate the culture that has developed and the general personality of the nation.

:cry
I do not want to be the one who signs you out...I would try to put a stop you leaving...but I can see why you would not want to see your creation as it is.

Hopefully Shireroth will one day recover again and be a place you can beproud of.

Regretfully, I apporve this.

So While I once loved Shireroth. Now I hate it. I hate what it has become, and what it does to me. I hate the culture that has developed and the general personality of the nation.
Excuse me? What culture do you hate? The culture of insanity was created by yourself - Yardistan and Cedrism being the most prominant examples. The culture of kinship? That was, once again, sparked by you with the ShireCons.

The culture of a feudalistic society? That evolved independently and came naturally as a result of the way the nation was advertised. And yet, this is not much different from the culture of kinship and insanity which makes Shireroth a nation. The entire feeling of "making indiviudal cultures by people" just came naturally as people felt that they should have their own places to work on individually.

As well, the nation is not yours. You're feel to dislike the way the nation has become, of course, but the nation never was meant to be entirely yours. Did you hear me? Shireroth was never meant to be under your control. You were the founder, yes. You have a special place in that regard. But don't expect a micronation to evolve exactly the way you want it to be! That is a complete and utter mistake to make - it's a mistake I made in Menelmacar.

The reasons why people disliked you is not other peoples' fault - it is your own. Already the new citizens have come to dislike you simply because of the way that you have been acting. This is not anyone else's fault. This is purely your own fault that people do not like you. It is not even a matter of conservatism here, but a matter of how you portray yourself. I'm not talking about PAST or anything that occured a couple of years ago, but the way you had portrayed yourself.

Finally, when it comes to the Kaisership? It was inevitable. With our very close society and the custom to switch Kaisers in a very short period of time, (VERY unusual for a micronation) it was inevitable for it to not be considered a complete form of an absolute monarchy. It is simply a form of realism to think of it as such, because an absolute monarch must take into account the will of the people if ze wants to have a stable micronation - a good example of this not happening being Antica. The only way this could even remotely change would be if we actually had a real permanent monarch rather than our switching system.
