Stewards Decree #221: Imperial Condemnations and Punishments

Post by AngelGuardian93 »

Kaiseral Palace
Shirekeep, Shireroth
Second Somnisday of Mo'lluk (February 12th)
2:20am.

With due apologies to all parties who had to wait (patiently, might I add), we have finally managed to meet together and get things straightened out.

To our friends, the Lemurians and the Anticans, due apology is given straight away. We were unaware of the extent of his actions, and he was not given authorization to commit them. We wish for peacefull relations with not just Lemuria and Antica, but all micronations of the world.

Delphi will be permanently barred from holding any position within SHINE.
He will also be permanently stripped of administrative powers.

He will be fired as Minister of Information, and may not hold any Minister-level or higher position in the Shirerithian government for at least two months. Although by the treaty of Aquilaria we cannot directly fire him as Duke, he will be barred from speaking or voting on the Landsraad floor for two months as well.

If at any time during this two month period or afterwards Delphi is caught committing similar actions against friends of the Imperial Republic, the punishment will be increased to six months, longer, or permanently, depending on the severity of the violation.

By my hand,
Gregory Russell; Steward of Shireroth.
There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.

This is acceptable to the Lemurian government.

By the way, I would like it if it's at all possible for someone to let me see the Duchy of Antica forums again, which Delphi stripped from me while illegally holding the position of admin.

Fully legally, as I pointed out. Nobles may ban people from their lands.

And as your government pointed out, you were illegally an admin. And I didn't see any provision saying you could stop someone from viewing your forum.

No one said I was illegally an administrator. I simply wasn't necessary to have it anymore. Now, please stop trying to dictate our own laws to us. I am allowed to banish you from the Duchy of Antica, and that I did.

And if you really want to view it so bad, just log out. Your account is banned, not your IP.

I'm sorry, I generally don't let criminals dictate laws to me.

Delphi is correct. Nobles have wide-ranging powers over their own territories and can do anything that does not conflict with Imperial law.

Also, I really can't imagine you want to go to Antica for any reason other than to cause trouble there, and I honestly believe there's enough trouble between you and Delphi already. Perhaps now that we've done you a favor you could try to do us a favor by not harrassing our citizens and not trying to resurrect old feuds for no good reason?

I wasn't aware that prosecuting criminals was deemed "a favor" in Shireroth.

I wasn't aware that doing something that there are no laws against makes you a criminal.

Thanks to our rather minimalist law code, Delphi did not officially break any Shirerithian laws but his actions were a problem to a country with which we would like to be friendly, and we try and help our friends out by not causing them problems. We assume that you will be polite enough to do the same.
