Late in the nights.

Lately as Greg has been trying to sleep strange whispers seem to fill his room and permeate his walls even when he knows he is all alone. He canÂ’t seem to make out what they might be saying but he can hear them all the same. But as he crawls in to his bed he can nearly hear growling. And then silence but as he falls asleep he can swear he can feel something large curled up at the foot of his bed wide awake. But when he turns on the lights there is never anything there.
