An Angel Gets her wings

That day she died,cried a million times tears,they tried to taint her soul,and illuminate her fears.But all the blood-thirsty wolves,that did come to feed on her body that day,hadn't been able to see,the truth staring them in the face,the blindness took their sight,the monster wore them thin,within the glass pockets of darkness,in the end, they did not win.the angel was not killed,the angel believed in love,and the angel will be set freeand arise to heaven above.the shadows of the dawn,all faded away,as the smoke and mirrors are gone,they will mate in another day.None shall know nor see,the beauty of this coupling,for it is up to them to share,the freedom of their love's song.As the masked hollowers howl,and lay before the armored breast,her stolen wings of the forlorn,are healed and reborn.As they are placed upon her freely,in a ceremony of faith and hope,they gather and state now seeing,that the man and woman eloped.With this windsung baby upon their back,they are given what was once thought lost,that all the pain and suffering,has brought them joy and a promise because they paid the cost.Hand and hand they'll stand,walking in the sun,not burned by a tainted land,but warmed in graceful fun.This pocket of sturdy and true,is theirs to keep from you,none will ever be able,to poison the food at this table.So, turn your heads the other way,Because THIS IS GOING TO BE OUR DAY!!!!!
