I realize the old Tymaria didn't work out too well, but I am confident that this can be changed this time around, especially with the more mature, interesting group of people we have. Okay okay...I have looked this over. I am against New Tymaria. And if New Tymaria actually happens I will withdraw all of my governmental positions from Shireroth any other country participating. I don't see the need for Shireroth to merge with anyone over anything. We are doing fine on our own. We are finally getting things started and are well on our way to acheiving greatness beyond our dreams. We do not need this merger for any reason. Citizens of Shireroth!We've recently been in some... negotiations with some other countries like Attera, the two Menelmacars, and Norius(you proly don't know of them.. nice people...) and because of the falling activity levels and stuff, we think we need to try a Huge Pointless Merger again. This new nation will be called New Tymaria(I wanted New Shirerithian Republic of Tymaria.. but they weren't big on the idea...) and will be at the old boards at pub44.ezboard.com/btymaria. The government is still being worked out, but Scott and Conrad Cromien will be the provisional leaders. And I plan to get in power.. ) Last time we were in Tymaria Shireroth used it to become really big and such... maybe we'l be able to do it again this time. I will be proposing this to the Landsraad or maybe just decreeing it in a while. proly tomarrrow...attera has already announced their participation at pub103.ezboard.com/fthefo...D=15.topic and other countries like Menelmacar and such...are going to in a few minutes. or so I'm told..All hail Atju, God of Huge POintless mergers!hehe.. woot! I don't mean to be offensive or anything, but Shireroth is a nation that is old and wise beyond your knowledge. Note especially the word old. It has been through times of major inactivity (Erik's absences, that is) and has had boatloads of new posts every now and then. It has always moved up and down, and I don't personally expect that it will become much more glorious in the future simply because activity in the provinces is not-too-shabby. From the perspective of Shireroth I'm supportive of this HPM... not because I'd expect much success from New Tymaria, but because Erik's going to use it to his advantage selfishly. That is, when it all breaks down (which should happen in less than a year), this nation will get to keep the scraps ;).* ari expects to be "SHUSH YOU!"''ed by the Kaiser pretty soon and decides to protect himself *Of course, if he and the Shirerithians get positions in the nation that please them... it's only for the better. Eehh, the most annoying thing about New Tymaria is that although it is an April Fools joke, it could easily pass as not one. So I think we need to pretend that is is not since a real Big Pointless Merger will probably be around the bend somewhere.That said, I do not see any actual advtantage of Shirerothian partisipation. Scraps shnaps. We do not need a big merger nation right now. What we need is to rebuild the foundation of the microworld again to get things running somewhat smoothly. And that means that each nation has to do their part. Shireroth is surviving this Plague brilliantly, so we do not need to do much over here ourselves. Let the rest of the world decide if they want to live or die, and then when the prove they want to live we might discuss a merger. Yes... Scott and his April Fool's day jokes... Accually.. I wanna see a huge pointless merger.. I long for it.... But Shireroth won't be in it..I want one so that we can reduce the number of nations in the Microworld. There are... FAR to many. And to many Multi Citizenships floating around...Soo.. I think don't so much need to smooth... as... we need to solidify... and rough up....Make less nations, merging nations together and getting rid of nations... and not having people with ass loads off citizenships.. Than.. when people begin to have only like.. 1 nation.. and only loyal to it.. and become truely and fiercly loyal..... Nations will become nations agian.. and not just social clubs.. Which is what they are partially now....What was my point.. oh yers.. A merger must happen..... But I'm not gonna be in it...
