A sad Namari

[Sirithil]

Unfortunately, due to the draconian Tri-Cit law, I am unable to maintain my citizenship here in Shireroth. :(As my last act as Thane of Elwynn and Novi Dalmacija, I hereby invoke the prerogative of the nobility to name one's successor. My successor to rulership of both the Duchy of Elwynn and the Barony of Novi Dalmacija shall be Mari Greenwood, a most excellent and esteemed wood-elf in whom I place my deepest respect and most implicit trust. With my lands in safe hands, where I know they will be cared for, I therefore now must abdicate as Thane and resign as a citizen of Shireroth. Thus, Mari Greenwood is now Thane of Elwynn and Novi D. Please welcome her and grant her all the same respect you gave me. :bIt's been fun, and I'll drop by whenever I can. Thanks, Shireroth, for a wild ride. Elfsnuggles for all. :) By my hand,~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HIH Sirithil nos FëanorTo the Microns, Fëa'Kir Cis'EthGweithiril of the Wandering FleetHigh Queen of the ElvesElentari-Emeritus of MenelmacarElder Arcanus, Hundland Mage GuildHiril of Hundland, TreesiaThane of Elwynn and Novi Dalmacija, ShirerothRasana of Vega Baja, AtteraAtteran Foreign Affairs-type ElfGovernor of Electrovenus, DelvenusICEO Chair-Elf~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"In place of a dark lord you would have a queen!Beautiful and terrible as the dawn, treacherous as the sea!Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me and despair!"- Galadriel, LOTR, Fellowship of the Ring, J.R.R. I'm sorry to see you go. Perhaps in a month or so, your citizenships will allow for you to return to us. till than, you are always welcome here. The seconds Elf to Rule Elwynn... makes sense since the name dirives from old Shirerithian. A distortion of the Word for "Of the Elves".. or more literally..."Land of Elves"... or is that figurative.... I get the two confused. We also welcome the honorable Mari Greenwood of Elwynn into our ranks and hear her voice kindly in the hall of the Landsraad.*bows* E. It is with the greatest joy and shadow of sorrow that I humbly accept the lands of the Barony of Novi Dalmacjia and the Dutchy of Elywnn unto my care as Thane. I shall do my best to maintain them and add to their prosperity and to serve the nation as a whole. It is my sincere hope that Sirithil will visit these lands often and know firsthand that the trust she has placed in my hands has not be misplaced.I also want to take the time to thank everyone for welcoming to this new position of Thane and to this great micronation.Namarie - till we meet again Merry We Meet - It Is Destiny that we M.E.T.Edited by: Mari Greenwood at: 1/15/03 12:16:45 am
