[Kaiser Mors I]

*Nick and Fax are in the ancient Shireroth throne room at Shirekeep. Surrounded by soldiers and guards the two are locked in bitter mortal combat for the throne. A man to man duel for the leadership of the realm.**Suddenly a commotion is heard out side the hall, several men scream in pain and misery. The two combatants stop fighting. More commotion is heard and then ceases. Confused several guards on both side of the dispute begin to approach the door. Before they get close enough to it, it blows open, the force of which nocks down the approaching guards. As the smoke clears quickly a black figure stands in the doorway. Dawned in pure black armor and caped in a jet-black cloak the man approaches armed with a sword. **The sword he bears is known by few in the hall, it is the sword of the ancient bloodline, lost for centuries only lore recalls its name. The name of Vengeance. Wielded by the Kaisers of old, the blade, forged of the remnants of a meteor, the metal sings threw the air toward it's target, flashing a ting of green in the light it brings death to those that dare stand against it. **And thus wielding Vengeance the man, solitary, walks down the halls marble floors toward the throne. All move aside and make way. Sheathing the sword, and ascending the steps up to the raised seat of Shireroth the crowd of men begin filling in staring in wild, wide-eyed bewilderment. **Turning round the dark figure seats himself upon the throne and gazes with eyes of blood fire at those that stand before him. And thus he spoke...*"I am Mortis Mercator. Descended of the lines of old, I come before you bearing Vengeance."*He unsheathes the blade and rests it upon his lap*"It was prophesied long ago that the blade would return, and with it, the messiah of Shireroth. He, who would restore our glory, restore the empire.I have come forth, dawned in the armor of the line of Metzler. Behold the wound that killed my grandfather. *Moving his arm he reveals a hole in the armor just be low the last left rib. *The armor shall be restored to new, as will our Empire. Long have we squabbled among ourselves. Fighting for control, allowing all we wish to control slip away into the hands of others. My grandfather died to defend our lands. I shall not die defending out lands. Our enemies shall die instead defending their lands!For the Glory of Shireroth shall be ours again! Our longing for the days of the 'Old Republic' shall be no more! We will not lament for the past. We shall lament not for the glory that is lost! The power that have dissipated! With my return I refresh the purity of the bloodline of Kaisers! Father of Raynor's line, Mother of the line of Khaz Modanian decent, I am pure blooded! Both of Kaiser and god. For the Ancients where indeed gods of their time! Mortal gods, but gods in their human right.BEHOLD! Shireroth hear me! You're time has come, The time for the storm is come, let all those that stand before and against us tremble at the power of the storm, at the power...of OUR STORM! We are the maelstroms that will show this world once again the might of Shireroth. Let the Trumpets sound, and the Voices of the young be raised up in lasting joy, for on this day, The Kaiser returns."*As he finishes, amongst the amazed whispers of the crowd, the Kaiser begins to leave the hall, as he leaves all begin to bow before him. As he reaches Nick and Fax he stops*"Raise up, men of valor. You have both fought for the valor of Shireroth, and I shall not fault you for it. Indeed your reward shall be great."*Turning to Nick. *Nick, Son of Yardistan. You shall retain your Duchy of Yardistan, and the greatness it has achieved, your land brought honor and strength to Shireroth. Indeed, your kinsmen shall henceforth be treated with reverence and honor. You my friend shall indeed be revered. You have long been a follower and preacher of the Booomist faith. Return to Yardistan and establish there, on the isle of Mirioth, a temple. A temple so great it makes the gods of old weep to behold it. And there you shall preach, not as a simple preacher, but as the High Priest. For by Divine Right I may bestow you with this honor."*Turns to Fax. *"Fax Celestis, Son of Kildare. You are a man of military knowledge and strength. You live and die by the blade. You are a man I cannot help but respect. Being a man of war, you shall be honored as such. Fax Celestis, Son of Kildare, I appoint you from this date for Commander of all Shierithian military might. You shall ride forth in the honor of Shireroth and make war on our enemies. All that see you will tremble in your presence. You are indeed worth of your title, Protector of The Lands. General of my forces. You will be my blade in the world. Strike hard and fast, leaving no hostile remaining. You will show cunning, daring and strength. But you shall also know mercy and wisdom. For I also bestow on you the Title of Steward of Shireroth. You shall run in my name when and if the time is needed, as per the law of the land you will retain all the duties and honors granted to that title. Go and prepare you men. We most move with the storm."*Turns away and proceeds out of the hall, followed closely behind by Fax and Nick* Kaiser Mortis Mercator IFeel The Power Of My Sword...
