The Neligan
These guys are pretty much free-reign.Their only requirements are their heavy dependence on magic and their anarchistic tendencies. But if anyone else wants this torch, please please PLEASE take it from me. I don't want it. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Re: The Neligan
I'd like to claim them for development. I might do a few things when I have time, but right now I do not have the time. Hopefully I'll be quitting my current job soon and thus have the mounds of free time I had when I first joined Shireroth a year ago. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Re: The Neligan
Anarchistic as in completely chaotic or as in there's no strict hierarchical structure unlike the Hunters?

Re: The Neligan
There's no set structure, except perhaps an "anarch" of sorts. Remember, the first Neligan was a rogue Yardistani. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Re: The Neligan
We'll leave it at that he was especially anarchistic and fled the Yardistani Anarchy, moving northwest until he found a society with no leaders. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Re: The Neligan
[21:55] Osmose1000: Made a draft Neligan path.[21:55] FaxCelestis: Ooo. Lemme see[21:55] Osmose1000: It's not an image yet.[21:55] Osmose1000: Lemme get where I wrote it down...[21:56] Osmose1000: All these names are simple fillers until I can make better ones.[21:56] Osmose1000: The first spell is Drain. I wanted to really accentuate their dependence on outside forces, and drain seemed like a good one.[21:57] Osmose1000: Stemming from the base spell is three spells: Shield, Life Absorbtion, and Shadow Shot.[21:57] Osmose1000: Shield is the beginning of a stem that accentuates the defense of oneself through magical means. More on the dependancy thin.[21:58] Osmose1000: Life Absorbtion is just a more powerful drain, although it might have some other effects, like draining drive or adrenaline.[21:58] Osmose1000: Shadow Shot is just what it says: A distance magic attack.[21:59] Osmose1000: Out from shield comes Evil Aura, which enhances the magical strength of the caster, and offers mild to moderate protection against some spells.[21:59] FaxCelestis: keep going[21:59] Osmose1000: Out of Evil Aura comes Possesion, which might become a second tree.[22:0 Osmose1000: It allows the caster to attempt (ATTEMPT) to gain control of the physical body of a person. The strongest of the Neligan can control multiple people at once and even make them speak, which a normal caster can't do. Simply keep their mouth shut.[22:0 FaxCelestis: //nod[22:0 Osmose1000: The otgher is Dark Touch. It also requires the Life Absorbtion spell to be learned first.[22:01] Osmose1000: It allows the user to drain the power from someone else by touching them and adding it to the power of their Dark Aura.[22:01] Osmose1000: On the other side of the tree, out of Shadow shot is Dark Fire, which is just your average giant fire spell.[22:02] Osmose1000: Out of that is two things as well. One of them is meteor storm, which is self explanatory.[22:02] FaxCelestis: okay[22:02] Osmose1000: The other is Pure Pain, which also requires Life Absorbtion. It induces, well, pure pain. It has a slight drain power to it too.[22:03] FaxCelestis: ...can Dark Fire include other elements, like lightning?[22:03] Osmose1000: I could add that in. I was only doing this during psychology cause I was bored. :P[22:03] FaxCelestis: I do mine at work[22:04] Osmose1000: And the final spell is Beast Morph, which requires Dark Touch and Pure Pain. It allows the caster to morph into a demon reflection of their inner selves. Those who are evil and stupid on the inside will turn into something like an orc, while powerful Neligan who are both evil and ugly might turn into winged demon lords.[22:04] Osmose1000: Their physical and magical capabilities are greatly enhanced through this spell. Re: The Neligan
Nifty. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.
