Coming from Shirlan, of which, Shyriath thusly constructed, originally.Kaiser Raynor X directed me, over from the Barony of Straylight, to speak to you about Shirlan's preservation. Being of the Ministry of the Exterior, will you assist with it's foreign affairs?

If you don't want to tell me your names publically, you can email them to ssiskind@hamilton.edu. Or if you don't have either, we can talk here.I'd really like to hear the first proposal from you so I know what you're looking at. If you want to work with us, we can do that in several different ways - we could annex you completely, we could annex you partially but leave you as a somewhat autonomous barony, we could not annex you at all, which would make our Kaiser cry because he likes annexing things, but would mean we give you help with certain things if you need them while you remain completely autonomous. It's all up to you guys.

In this forum, too many lurkers. ICQ and AIM, no, don't have nor require. E-mail is a possibility.Considering the best annexing arrangement of Shirlan, however due to complexity, I think it proper if I meet with the Kaiser first to discuss a few things and how best to proceed. It's somewhat alienated. Many ideas are coming to mind, rapidly.Have anything to add to all this?

Well, if I had to make a proposal right now, without any input from your side, it would look something like this:Shirlan will become a Barony under the Republic of Shireroth in the Duchy of Brookshire (the same Duchy as Straylight), with whoever the Shirlanians wish being made a Baron. It will have the right to secede at any time if it no longer wishes to remain in Shireroth. Someone from one of the Ministries will be appointed to show you around and get you acquainted with the way things work (or fail to work) around here. If you approve, I can make it a treaty. And if you can get four active people, we can make you a Duchy instead of a Barony under the new Feudal Holdings Act.
