It really is a Tolkien character? That makes me somehow feel simultaneously embarrassed and vindicated that I made fun of it for sounding Tolkien-characteresque.

Hello. Before I introduce myself in another thread, let me just say a few words about the name.It is indeed from Tolkien, Aranarth was the first steward of the Dunedain, and thus an ancestor of Aragorn and all these sturdy bearded rogueish-looking blokes with a name starting in Ara.I actually had this nickname before the films, it's been with me since 1999 or something. Not that I wanna justify it, but, well, I do actually.Just so you know Thanks for approving my immigration to your beautiful country.
