Well, that's what we had before, pretty much, and that system has its own merits as well.I consider the current system of alliances just about as valid. I sort of like it. But regardless, I feel that if we are to call ourselves feudal, the bits of land we get should be granted by someone higher up, who rules us. A minister does not rule. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

having said that, a minister can record what is allready true. and in real life, a good chunk of fuadal holdings were places that people had taken for themselves. making them official was just aknowledging the status quo.and so a minister could handle that, and also handle the task of telling people what is available and who has claimed what.
