Actually, I wouldn't mind hearing what the Landsraad actually wants out of me, or if there's a direction they think I should be taking. Right now I'm planning on using the "reasonably isolationist but not bloody stupid" approach, in which we don't go out of our way to become involved in the international community but in which we try and snatch anything that has a good prospect of long term benefit. The four prongs of the plan (how I love prongs!) would be:1. Make friends with any nation we see that looks reasonably nice, so as to have a lot of friends in case we need it and to establish our place in the international community.2. Share resources in any case where we think we will be helpful, such as low-risk military alliances, link exchanges, et cetera.3. Join only international organizations that offer direct and non-threatening benefit to Shireroth. Thus, LoM is right out, as it has no real benefit and is can be threatening to our sovereignty at times, but something like the ICEO would be acceptable.4. (the evil prong) Without actually being aggressive or hurtful, try and gobble up as many little nations as possible into Duchies and Baronies. This would mean making good friends with promising new nations and then offering to annex them when they die.While I do not see the establishment of a new Benacian Commonwealth as part of a short-term plan, I would not rule it out if the political situation changed drastically.Thoughts?
