Idea for recruiting more people to shireroth

Okay, I play the mmorpg Guild Wars. My current guild is starting to fall apart, and the co-founder and I are considering abandoning it to the third officer. Well I was reading over some fourms today and I had an idea. If there's sufficent intrest we could form a shireroth guild. the Laastrad could debate issues in real-time in the guild hall, considering the hierarchy system of the guild organization we could adapt things to that. And we wouldn't have to pay for advertising, if we recruit in-game we can require people to join shireroth as part of becoming a member of the guild. If they don't show up in the member list after a certain amount of time we would take action, possiblely kicking them from the guild. I've mentioned the idea to the kaiseress, and she has asked for the populous to gauge interest.For those of you not familiar with guild wars, it's a really well run MMO, with no monthly fees. All we would have to pay for would be our accounts, which is about the price you'd pay for a pc game. The PvP side of guild wars has been called the next counter-strike and the world championship is going to happen in march in thailand. I've been playing gw for a while now, and if there are any other veterans of gw, please contact me with your input on this matter in-game. this could likely be impletmented as independent projects, the gw players could handle the gw side and the wow players theirsbut it's mostly the basic idea of a shireroth guild

Guild Wars is still a bit expensive here, and I don't have all that much money or time/energy to play it, and since I've got my laptop working again I'm treating this as my primary platform...and there's no way in the Nine Hells it'll work on this old junkheap.But more power to you and your idea, it sounds like a great way of getting people involved.

I don't have Guild Wars, although I've been dying to get it. Maybe when I have more money. Although I dunno how well a 56k connection will handle it...

I've grouped with a couple people using a 56k and for the most part it doesn't really affect things other than when they load the area. Aside from that i've heard few complaints in terms of lag.
