Ducal Decree #10: Relocating the Seanad
BE IT ENACTED that the Seanad of the Dutchy of Kildare, by agreement of the Barons and the Dutch, henceforth maintain its permanent seat in Apollo City, ancient and beloved among the cities of Micras. Let it also be the recommendation of this Dutch that, in keeping with its past history and new status, it be reconstructed and rebuilt to its ancient glory, to inspire awe and resentment across the face of the world.
Done in 3609 ASC by the hand of
SHYRIATH BUKOLOS,
Count of Sunderspray,
Dutch of Kildare
(P.S. I cleaned up the Decreebook, and have posted this decree there as well. Hopefully, all should be right with it now.)

Re: Ducal Decree #10
Thank You, My Lord. I would say we use the Tetrapole as Seanad building, but that's already used by the Count of Audentior. I don't need the office now, as I have the Grace Palace as Senechal, but when I quite that job, I would have nowhere to work.
But no worries! I will construct a new Seanad building!

From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Excellent.
...Incidentally, if any damned postmodern-influenced architecture gets involved, my wrath shall be felt.

But Apollo City is relative modern... to Kildarian standards.

Re: Ducal Decree #10
That's as may be, but architecture ought to beautiful. A building shaped like an exploded amoeba or resembling a bunch of cubes welded onto each other at differing angles may be interesting (in fact, they'd DEFINITELY be interesting) but they'd also be monstrously ugly. The same goes for buildings that look like piles of stacked concrete slabs, with the difference that those wouldn't even qualify as interesting.
...As you may have gathered, when it comes to architecture, I have Views.
