Behold our Siege-Train advancing through the Duchy of Elwynn you infidels and despair! At is head is nothing less than the Juggernaught of Zahadum! At the heart of this mile-long armoured leviathan of iron and steel lie harnessed the concentric orbs of Zurvan’s Will and they are finely balanced against the Philosophers Stone of Alp Arslan to drive this monster, shield it from all harm and fuel the fire in its belly! When activated the Juggernaught, this the supreme relic of our greatest god Zurvan from whom Ahriman the Tudeh himself recoils in terror, crushes shreds and burns its path through all terrains leaving only charred earth. For the moment it is only clearing the land for the laying of track on which the Siege-Train behind it shall run, it is not until it reaches Goldshire that its true terror will be unleashed on enemies of the Kaiseress. And what delights in terror our Siege-Train alone holds for the unwise rebels! 670 artillery pieces altogether! There is the 80-cm calibre monster gun – the Wrath of Kapav, quite simply the largest cannon ever assembled on Micras or Nova Terra it weighs over 1350 tonnes, with a barrel length of nearly 29 metres. It has a range of 47 kilometres and it is crewed by two thousand Razjanian fanatic-engineers specially trained to show no regard for their own lives when firing 7100kg bunker busting rounds; their excessive weight allows them to borough deep into the ground and their fissile cores unleashes a cataclysmic chain-reaction enough to rent the earth asunder. Guarding the Siege-Train are the Anausha Division and the Ushabari Division. Armoured, mechanised and fully modernised these forces comprise the Imperial Guard Regiments and the Dromedary Regiments all consisting of Warrior Armoured Fighting Vehicles, Challenger II and M1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks covered by a formidable air-defence umbrella of 3,000 Stinger wielding Mujahedin, 500 SA-2 SAM’s, 4 batteries of Patriot, 14 Crotale batteries, 1,600 Air-defence guns including 120 ZSU 23/4 and 350 57mm guns. Above them all comes the black swarms of Apache and Hind helicopter gunships.All this and the Grand Commander himself is now moving on Goldshire.

Two banner flights of the Babkhan Apache swarm, numbering one hundred attack helicopters, peeled away from their sentry duty over the Siege-Train and leaving the destructive wake of the Juggernaught behind them they set forth to scout the path that the main force of the Imperial Bástán Army would take to Goldshire. The Shirerothian capital Shirekeep laid on the straightest path that the Juggernaught could take from Hessen to Goldshire Hamlet and obviously it could not be driven through such a populated and sensitive area. No the apaches would have to scout and where possible neutralise the enemy and find a way round.Who was the enemy? That was the problem with civil wars friends and enemies all looked the bloody same. The advantage of the Mango-Camel Pact was that friend or foe recognition devices had been issued to help Babkhan forces identify friendlies. The only problem was that there was no guarantee that the friendlies had received the device, a small transmitter broadcasting an ID code, at all. But as the Grand Commander had said to the assembled crews on the Juggernaught’s flight deck ‘don’t make a target of yourself by trying to identify the loyalties of any force you encounter, if they’re clearly hostile take them out, if they’re friendly leave them be, if you can’t identify them radio in their position and skirt around we will run this Juggernaught of ours over them if they haven’t had the sense to get out of the way…’

The infidels were relentless in their onslaught, and the defensive positions of forces of Shireroth were weakening. The Babkhans had arrived just in time. As he had commanded, Babkhan Artillery had formed up pending a massive saturation attack. Many Paladin Self Propelled Howitzers (155 mm) along with Self Propelled Multiple Launch Rocket Systems formed the bulk of the said artillery. Cruise missiles and SRBM had also been readied for the assault. Two mechanized brigades would advance after the initial bombardment. The infidels won't know what him them. The two flight banners of apaches approach Shirekeep like a locust swarm. Their survey has already provided the Juggernaught with its route around the city, now they begin a reconaissance to discover what has occured inside the captial city which has been cut of from all communication with the outside world. Cautiously the swarm approach, conducting radar sweeps and infra-red scans.
