Is all in readiness?

Post by Jacobus Loki »

"Marshmont, is my gear packed?"

"Yes milord."

"Very well. Load it onboard the Kaiser Mors V . Since I personally signed the lease, It's going with me." :document

"As am I, milord, and you faithful bodyguard."

"Yes. Yardistanis, Dyrians, Rulzcentians, Puritanians, Lyricans, Cyberians. Quiet a Foreign Legion, aren't we? :D

"As you say, milord. I threw the Babkhan spy overboard myself."

"Shame. Best cook and knife-man we had. Plenty of fuel?"

"Of Course. The bunkers have been topped off, and the new reactor will be ready to go on line tomorrow."

"Food? Ammunition?"

"Yes, milord"

"Excellent. Weigh anchor, cast off all lines, clear the headlands, and then set course 180 degrees."

(The ship pulled away from the dock, and an hour later was lost to sight in the fog.)

Lost to sight from the shore, that was. But the ship wasn't aware of the small Kildarian sailing ship following, slowly but surely, behind. It was crewed from pirates of the Norfolk Islands, and captained by a Melangian, and trailing in the water, just behind it, appeared to be ... a tentacle.

However far or fast the Kaiser Mors V went, they would follow. They'd had the foresight to install a MPS tracker onboard ...

However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Yardistan is eagerly awaiting your return. We all know you'll be back, the question is whether it'll be under the reign of Hasan or not. I'd rather the former personally. :kaiser
Vilhelm von Benkern - The Dolphin-...Count
:: Formerly just "benkern"
:: Rook Sentry of the Order of the Vorpal Blade
:: Count of Mar Sara IIRC
:: Former Baron of Absentia AFAIK, before that Baron of Vorpmadal TBH; also Former Duke of Yardistan IMHO
:: Dux Emeritus of the Order of Mischievous Intent

It takes moo to mango!

M'Duke...

Maybe you should think of Appointing Barons?

Oh Great Benkern! If it is your will!

I've been hesitant to start being a Duke because, well, I was hoping Jacobus would change his mind. However it doesn't seem like he will.

You can at least leave Jacobus in the Barony he's currently in ...

I didn't have a Barony. Besides, the guys have done a great job, and deserve promotions.
