I remember a bunch of years back Daffyd Young made an automated Bank for AIN 7 I think. Maybe we could try to track it down?

I don't believe it would work even if we did. Chances are it was in CGI or some really old PHP...

By the way, gentlemen, dSpangle did join, but rarely posts. So, in a way, you could say he is a citizen, but inactive.

It doesn't look bad :thumbsup

What's wrong with Spangle? He is good people. He got banned from MNN for No Good Reason, and that makes him a brother! :fish

I've been trying to get Spangle to post on Shireroth since before we got back alive. Good luck to whoever's trying that. I suggest blackmail. :evil

I'll give it a shot. Until then could I suggest building an alter to his visage with a constant vigil for his return? That type of thing usually works.

*tears self away from shireroth tab to continue coding culture upload validation systems*

*writes echo("Error ".$errors.": Wrong number of cultural items listed in culture table for row ".$i.". (validator can't fix this atm. coder is too lazy...)\n");*

I blame Ari for my posting here by his nagging on #ecco-the-dolphin... and if "phun" is anything to go by, things I hear about on #ecco-the-dolphin stick in my head for ages...

erm...

*looks through thread*

Jess:

Kaiser Hesan I: I once worked on a banking system before for Andreas, nearly finished, learned about mySQL databases and now there are 3 pages of it written down in a book of lined paper marked PHP... I moved onto some other projects such as the ForumList and CultureUpload system, but in a project I'm looking forwards to focusing on again I will encounter banks again, but I shall let Erik make the Shireroth bank because he has already started and seems to be doing fine.

Hypatias mom: Yeah... I'm a citizen but don't post because I've been busy with PHP and posting in Jamzinia and raising Bobalania to the second most active in the sector, but I don't post in Bobalania anymore.

Ari: For quoting me on IRC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIllRdSzSug ok that's just because you keep nagging me at stuff really.

Erik: I try to ignore Jess when possible.

Jacobus Loki: That's debated by many :rolleyes... My school followed suit by banning me from their system last week, then like newscientist magazine, telling me how I could get round the security systems. The school also showed utter failure by asking for the root password on ubuntu.

Jonas: I have three, I mix two of them up even though they're totally different and I can't spell the name of the other one...

Benkern: Ari beat you.

Kaiser Hasan I: An alter if I don't return? *starts deleteing pos

We'd still like to see you around here a lot more, busy or not. Please come when you can, and post when you see something that interests you.

The CultureUpload system is basically a mod to the ForumList, it will allow nations to upload items of culture to their section and then every month (probably somewhere around the 15th, although putting it on the first wouldn't be that bad I guess) the culture council people who are selected by the public will vote on how good the culture is, between 1 and 10, then it will show the voting averages for the current month on the main page, if you click them you will see which voter voted how much and you will be able to "disagree" with it, and if 10 people disagree with it the council member will have to vote on it again possibly giving more comments as to why they rate it how they do.

I'll try to post when I can but I'm supposed to be posting in Jamzinia right now... :P

*checks*

CIS
Nova England (Haven't visited for months [except ForumList checks])

I think that's about 2...

Everyone else is dead, Oscland, New Brittania, Gosling, Azzoria Imperium, all been dead for ages now... :cry

Life goes on I guess... except for those previously mentioned nations, for whom life does not.

Yeah there were times where my citizenships were counted in tens... now it's almost one digit in binary :P

Have you ever used the tools they give you to assemble Ikea furniture? It's ridiculous! It might easily change your thinking... ;)

One of my ancestors constructed a rather famous altar ... I'm sure I could whip up a Spangle one without too much difficulty ...
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

The assembly of micronations was put together with one of those little wrenches.
