Nexuiz

Post by Ari Rahikkala »

Icebreaker proposed this tonight but I apparently managed to demoralise him completely... so, uhh, I'll do it for him instead. The two of us, plus a couple of other people (that I wouldn't try to recruit, for their own good), like playing games of Nexuiz every now and then. Nexuiz is a fast-paced FPS game that's entirely free (in more than one sense of the word, but the one that you're probably interested in is that you can just download and play it, no strings attached).

We've mostly been playing in the evening, of course, making the sessions take place somewhere around... hm... 21-23 Finnish time, so 19-21 UTC, or 11-13 PST... but we're flexible, especially on weekends. Times can always be arranged.

(note that traditionally, in these games, you use an ethanol handicap if you're too skilled compared to the others, or if you're hosting (and therefore have zero ping). Obviously, this won't be a problem since you guys won't be the ones needing the handicap... or do you want to prove otherwise?)

Just get CSS (the other CSS) and be happy dammit!

Actually get HL2 which includes CSS. Then you can get Pirates Vikings and Knights II! :fish
