Straylightians, be critical

Post by Ari Rahikkala »

I've had ideas about Straylight ferment in my head for five years or so. Now, I'm finally taking the time to simply put them all down, trying to systematically establish sanct by sanct, constantly editing the articles on everything related to Straylight in ShireWiki, going through my older writings and wondering how the PRH to incorporate them in modern Straylight... and I'm spending a lot more time on just getting that infodump down than caring for things like structure, consistency or readability. Basically, I'm going for volume instead of quality, not because I like the idea of writing in volume, but because I just want to finally empty all of this stuff out of my brain. It's likely that there will be a lot of boring ol' drivel produced, and a lot of what I say will probably contradict a lot of the rest of what I say.

That's why I need your help. Please vet the articles linked to from http://shireroth.org/wiki/index.php?title=Straylight. When they contradict each other, or the rest of Shireroth, please tell me. When they are poorly structured, please tell me (and suggest how to structure them). When they are just a plain bore to read, please tell me, and suggest how they could be improved.

(oh, and Icebreaker? I know you're reading this thread. You *are* Shirithian, you know. So, go to http://shireroth.kuroshiro.net/forum/vi ... =20&t=7468 and fill out the census form. In allcaps if you like. It's not technically necessary at all - certainly your account won't be suspended if you don't answer, despite what Carol says - but, hey, it's the Shirithian thing to do to answer in the census.)

Hmm, far too many things stuck in your mind ... know exactly what that's like ...
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

I MIGHT DO THAT LATER OR NOT. PROBABLY NOT IN ALLCaps though, as Shirithians in general haven't learned how to awesome yet. Maybe someday... I think it's possible, anyway.
