The boss told me to test this wireless card, so I decided to test it by coming here. W00t, I are posting from work!
Pity I can't do this all the time...

You test was successful.
But, you could always tell him you need to test more.

Update:
Apparently, however, the thing CAN cause some issues. Since it didn't need to be given back till today, Doug told me I could take the card home and try it in my own laptop to see how the reception was. Since I have only dialup, I eagerly agreed. By I was stymied by three events:
1) The PC slot on my laptop is the wrong shape;
2) Before I found that out, the software that's required to use the card screwed up the laptop for several days, and
3) When I finally got into safe mode to uninstall said software, it uninstalled the AT&T software that's used to connect to the internet through dialup, as well as that which I'd put on there for the card.
Thus leading to:
4) No Internet access between shortly after the last time I posted and when I was able to restore the settings (i.e., yesterday).
My superiors were sympathetic, but they were also amused. Bah.
So, now I'll have to catch up with things again...

Damn you, Shyriath, it's impossible not to be sympathetic-and-amused with the way you retell it! *shakes fist at* Emotional manipulation! */complains*
And, of course, what hypatias mom said. Good to have you back.
