Ari's plans for the next two weeks

Work is beginning to pile up. Excellent! This means that whenever someone asks me about job A, I can tell them I'm busy with job B, and if someone asks me about job B, I can tell them I'm busy with job A.

... or not. Here's the plan:

Tuesday: Finish moving website contents to wiki, make a provisional frontpage with the same links as on the website and maybe some content (leaving structure and other niceties like that for later, or for other people). Study for exams.
Wednesday: Finish getting automatic forum database backups into cron. Study for exams. Desperately attempt to get Eclipse to stop sucking for long enough that I can handle a programming assignment with it.
Thursday: Finish studying for exams on user interfaces and on algorithms on monday. Tidy up house. Curse at Java.
Friday: Booze with Isaac. (I never get drunk except when this guy is around - and don't worry, I will manage recruit him... one day...)
Saturday: Booze with Isaac. Approach Gralus with a treaty proposal after half a liter of 38%.
Sunday: Hangover. Desperately attempt to review for exams. Exhort random people on IRC about the benefits of drinking industrial ethanol.
Monday: Delayed moral hangover. Desperately attempt to succeed at exams.
Tuesday: Post-exam moral hangover. Explain the Batavians what I've done to this forum, as per Jonas's request. Study some mathematics.
Wednesday: Write first draft of I Would Trust You With My Life. Realise the programming assignment is due on Friday. Curse profusely at Java.
Thursday: A STORM IS COMING! (and it would like to exchange a few words with James Gosling)
Friday: Realise programming assignment is due today. Realise that UML diagrams on the design have to be submitted with the program. Make up design based on a cursory reading of the code.
Saturday: Prove Collatz conjecture. Failing that, do ShireWiki scope reduction.
Sunday: Prove P == NP. Failing that, do ShireWiki scope reduction.

The great thing about writing a plan like this, that is without mentioning actual dates, is that you can pretend you meant to do all that stuff next week. For what it's worth, though, booze with Isaac will still happen and take up a lot of my time. I'll still probably try out the drunken diplomacy, maybe with the Republic of Antica or something (or with a posting spree in Gralus). Oh, and I've made a lot of progress on I Would Trust You With My Life - Isaac will get to read what I've done so far tomorrow. After that I'm going to shelve the story for at least a couple of weeks, maybe a month, then come back to edit (rewrite) and publish it.
