phpBB3 test post
If this post is here, I at least got somewhere in the migration to the new version!

Re: phpBB3 test post
Holy cow! This is awesome so far. Thank you for all the work you're doing, Ari!
Note - this is the only nitpick I can come up with right now, so please don't be surprised about it's lack of gravity... my name being a bit longer than your average screenname makes the "Logout [ <username> ]" line split into two lines. Since there's still quite some space between "Logout" and "View unanswered posts" for me (I've not looked at the source, so I'm not sure if the two blocks are declared by percentage), perhaps making the Logout/New Message/Search/Members/UCP box wider would be a good idea?
But, geez, I love the changes. Can't wait to see everything getting wrapped up!
Lemme know if I can help with anything.

Wonderful! Look at all those juicy mangoes in beautiful array! The forum looks very sleek.
Malarbor approves!
(Well... I think he does... really quite hard to tell when most of the communication is through the sounds of leaves dropping and occasionally trees falling in an empty wood...)
Though is there a way to make my avatar un-shrunken? I see some other avatars have retained their size. Is it possible to keep my one in its original, unsullied form?

Impressive. And Malarbor's box is smaller, which is a good thing.

Re: phpBB3 test post
I extended the column with the logout link to 18 em, is that enough for your name, Neike?
I also increased the maximum avatar size to 150x120 and reloaded Jonas's and benkern's avatars. Anyone else whose avatar got shrank can just go to their profile settings and resubmit their avatar, with the "avatar dimensions" fields empty.
The next thing I'm going to do is try to figure out why this board keeps logging me out constantly. After that, I'm going to deuglify the forums that have so many subfora that their forum image goes an a different line than the forum name, and maybe make the subforum list delimiter a bit more conspicuous.

... right. Forum list display has been dewonkified, cookie domain fixed so that persistent logins now work... all in all, visually the board pretty much looks like how I think it should look right now (suggestions or orders are welcome). Well, except for some icons/buttons (most importantly the profile, PM, email, edit and quote buttons in posts) from the subsilver2 style that look way too bright for the colour scheme - I'll have a look at making some more Shirithian-ish icons later on (unless someone can provide some for me!).
What I'm going to do right now, though, is get rid of some of the more hilariously antiquated moderators...

I swept out most of the moderatorship positions, mainly everything in the ministries and subdivisions, and granted moderatorship to the new dukes in their subdivisions, and to Jonas in the Landsraad-related fora.

Any comments on the links in Malarbar? Should ShireFox be returned there?

The stylesheet is in public_html/forum/styles/malarbor/themes/stylesheet.css. .spacer is what's between rows - I turned its brightness up a couple of notches - and .row1 and .row2 are the alternating rows (I'm not sure what .row3 is for).

Re: phpBB3 test post
In case we wanted another row?
I'm also having issues with the forums that are not general not telling me if there are new topics... but this may be just due to the move and stuff.. I'll give it another day incase it's just caused by threads that are from yesterday...
