It's time I ask for something from Shireroth for a change. In the current state of the nation it's a very simple request, too - some would say it's the kind of thing that micronations are created for.

I want to be the Duke of Straylight again.

That's... all of it, really. I'm not putting any bargains on the table: It's your decision, Erik, what kind of a nation you want Shireroth to be. I'm only telling you what I would like it to be like .

Sadly, at this time I cannot justify making Straylight a full duchy with the land status as such and a forum.

However I got a cracked out idea last night in the shower...

1. Straylight shall remain a part of Yardistan for land and forum purposes...

2. Ari shall be granted the title of Duke in Straylight. Meaning, while Straylight does not get a large duchy forum thingy... and is technically... part of Yardistan. It does not have to submit to Yardistani Law, and Ari gets a vote in the Landsraad, since he's a Duke.

Will this work? For now...

I'm not happy with the decision, but... I've stuck with Straylight so far, I have the patience to wait for another chance to strike .

It's the best I can do at the moment, and it puts Straylight in a position to become a Duchy in the future, and it gives you power, if you want it..
