You know this whole episode reminds me of the time when I was going to try and exploit the MCS to annex Cimmeria to Elwynn. Inspired by Xerxes I ordered the construction of two giant causeways towards those islands utilising the very best in captured Menelmacari technology and captive Elfinshi slave labour.
Once the causeway was complete the Barony/Duchy/County/Barony of Elwynn would have declared itself in revolt and two Babkhano-Elwynnese armies would have marched across to secure the islands and massacre and enslave all who dwelt there.
The invasion successfully completed, the network of Elwynnese nuclear power stations would have been harnessed to provide the electricity to the giant pumping stations that would have drained the enclosed land - ending Cimmerias seperate existance and annexing it permenantly to Elwynn no matter what the outcome of the revolt was.

It was at about the time of the War of Retribution or whatever Bill called it.
Although Cimmerians do not know it they have the withering sarcasm of Eoin Dornan to thank for their continued liberty. His response to the plan was 'Yeah, lets build giant polders, that'll really scare them!'
After which the two giant dams were constructed on the East and West branches of the Elwynn River with the intention of flooding Shirekeep in a Biblical deluge in the event of war with Babkha.
As far as I am aware the causeways are still there.

You could easily change the map slightly these days. It's hardly noticed.
Spangle; the USSC shifted Keltia up a few pixels I believe. I still haven't worked out how to fix that. Check it out - the borders and "Benkerngrad" don't line up. I'm the only one that's noticed apparently.
