Greetings from the Grand Commonwealth!

Post by Dugobert W. »

Greetings, be unto all of Shireroth, and to His Imperial Majesty, the Kaiser.

It has come to our attention, that the Mango-Camel Pact has long been outdated and was cancelled. In that aspect, we would like to renew our relations by signing the treaty again. I may be contacted at any time, perhaps Scott or a representative may.

My AIM is portela007.

Isn't the GC (a little bit) dead?
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Isn't the GC (a little bit) untrustworthy backstabbing power-hungry abomination from the nethermost pits of hell?

Now the GC is dead and gone (Siriain will tell you otherwise, but one person doesn't class as a commonwealth and hes legally off his head anyway) you can apply all of those things to an independant Babkha. I'm the Khan of Alkhiva and Regent of Babkha by the way *waves*

Mango-Camel Pact between the real Mangoes and Camels might be fun, though.

As the Chancellor of the Exterior of the Grand Commonwealth, no we're not dead :no. Just because Babkha left doesnt mean the Commonwealth is dissolved mate.

You can argue all you want :angel

Um, that didn't quite make sense.

But if you are trying to say what I think you were trying to say, then what was Babkha when it had no forum for a least a month?

Could that be Siriain under a different name maybe? :o Now there's a shock. When Babkha had no forum we atleast still had more than 2 people who were working on getting it back. The GC is hardly going to be the GC when it is infact just Karnali.

Wow, your intelligence skills are A+ mate. You havent been named Commonwealth Ambassador, therefore, please start a new thread where you can comment all you want about the GC.

I'd appreciate it very much.

What the Grand Commonwealth does with itself from now on is entirely a matter for the Grand Commonwealth. If it wishes to persevere sans members and now seemingly sans infrastructure it is entirely within its rights.

And yes Iskander Mirkdale is Iain, I should know - I suggested the alias for his Elwynnese persona back in the day.

Your sarcasm is meaningless considering you said exactly the same thing to me in Nea Hestia and Alkhiva concerning my Zatriarchship in Matbaa.

Well... in the eyes of those that witnessed the event I mentioned it will make you look stupid.

I don't know about any of this GC politic stuff. I'll leave it to itself to figure out. However, if Babkha is an independent nation, then a review of the Mango-Camel Pact of old, would indeed please us.

Well seeing as we are most certainly independent. I am sure that His Imperial Majesty's Government shall look forward to making that review with yourself oh Glorious and Unrivalled Kaiser.

Your Imperial Majesty,
As I have recently been appointed Grand Vizier, I thought I'd come by personally and present this snuff mull as a gift to the republic. May its bizarre ridiculousness be a symbol of the friendship between our two great nations.

Image

As a symbol of my personal hope of re-establishing friendly terms I'd like to present a link to the Shireroth entry of the Grand Archive, for the sake of nostalgia. (This was a project I worked on years ago that managed to survive the ezapocalypse).

Shireroth (Grand Archive)

And finally I present Your Majesty with a piece of trivial trivia. What is the common link between The PRNSE-led CCCP, AtterCom, Tymaria and the GC other than being meta-states?

The Skerri Isles

(It was a component of all attempts at a meta-state either as a protectorate under The Free Republic, UBAT or on its own)

I accept your gifts in the spirit of friends that they were given in, and thank you kindly for them.

As a sign of friendship from the Imperial Crown of Shireroth, I present to you this bowl of blessed overly spicy chicken and this cart of succulent Shirerithian mangoo pulled by a team of some of the finest sacrificial oxen in all of Shireroth.

Accept these gifts as a sign of a friendship that is now embers, but may soon blaze into the night sky once more, to light the way to a better future for both our nations.
