In Memoriam--Virginia Tech

Post by hypatias mom »

Our hearts go out to the students, faculty, and families of those killed in the massacre at Virginia Technical University in Blacksburg, Virginia, on April 16, 2007. Let us keep them in our hearts and prayers.

Stay close to those you love, and reach out to the lost and lonely you see around you.[/code]

It's sad... What makes a young man want to go on a killing spree? What went on in his mind as he massacred his fellow students?

My thoughts are with the victims and their families and friends.

May God have mercy upon their souls. What a horrific tragedy this was. Let us pray - for all of us that do pray in some form or another - that such a thing never, ever happens again, in the US or any other nation.

Terrible! I have heard of it in the news. Our(Belgium) newspapers are full of it! It's terrible :cry
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

It does, indeed, make one think about the preciousness and fragility of human life. Any of us could be alive, and then be dead, because of another person's insanity.
