The island of Sark...

Post by Scott of Hyperborea »

...is the last feudal society in Europe, and now is under pressure from the European Union to become a democracy. See http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld ... t-underdog

Maybe one of our priests should ask the gods to bless them in their struggle to resist the republican menace.

Hey- I never said I hadn't heard of it, just that I didn't know how close it is to my part of the UK.

Multicultural? Oh, but we are. For a 'Yurpean', as you Yanks would say, I've got more foreign heritage than most

Ehh, statism? :confused
1. Specific instances of state intervention in personal, social or economic matters.
2. A form of government or economic system that involves significant state intervention in personal, social or economic matters.
