Preamble
By the signing of this treaty, this document becomes a binding contract between said signatories and their respective nation-states. This treaty cannot be adjusted, ammended or changed without the dual consent of both signatory parties. As a binding contract, both nations are obliged to uphold the articles herein this treaty. Any violation of said articles will result in either a suspension or anullment of the treaty. This treaty has no expiration and will remain in effect until such time as it is either withdrawn or an action is taken to anull it.
Article 1.) By signing this treaty, the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to recognise and respect the sovereignity and territorial integrity of both nations.
Article 2.) By signing this treaty, the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to cease all hostilities between one another (if any exist), and to maintain peaceful coexistence.
Article 3.) By signing this treaty, the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to not engage in revolutionary, rebellious or other such activities that would undermine the stability of each's nation.
Article 4.) Both the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to undertake extended eforts to cooperate on domestic issues such as economic and cultural projects
Our authority in this matter is confirmed by the following Treaty:
Should Puritania achieve Provincial status within the FRC, we shall continue to abide by it.Treaty of Protection and Mutual Assistance between the
FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF CYBERIA and the
COMMONWEALTH OF PURITANIA
I-
The Commonwealth of Puritania hereby requests and accepts the Protection of the Federal Republic of Cyberia. The FRC shall consider an attack on Puritania as an attack on the FRC and shall react in kind. The Commonwealth shall assist the FRC in any manner possible.
II-
To secure the borders and sovereignty of Puritania, the Commonwealth requests and the FRC agrees to send FRC armed forces to the Commonwealth to be based on Commonwealth territory at the mutual expense of both parties.
III-
The FRC shall represent the foreign interests and policy on behalf of the Commonwealth.
IV-
The Commonwealth shall have the option of applying for full Province status within the FRC, the maintenance of the status quo for an undetermined time, or, after the restoration of a stable government, to resume full independance. The FRC may choose to authorize said independance, or may authorize an impartial third party to assist in such decison.
V-
All citizens, present and past of Puritania shall have all of the rights of citizens of the Federal Republic of Cyberia, excluding all those restricted from such by Cyberian law.
VI-
Until the establishment of a stable Puritanian government, the Legislature of the FRC may act on behalf of the Commonwealth in all matters. All Acts of the legislature of the FRC shall apply in Puritania unless specially excluded by the FRC.
VII-
This treaty shall comew into effect on approval by the Acting Lord Protector of Puritania and ratification by the Senate of the FRC.
