Greetings and Apologies to the Kaiseress

Just thought I should check in here with Your Majesty... partly as an official note of my coming-backness, partly to apologize for not being here. Of course, Greg was a good choice for Duke of Yardistan (though I imagine other candidates were hard to find), and I am glad that he was chosen.

As for my other positions here... I can only assume, having not yet seen a Decree or other appointment document to the contrary, that I have not yet been removed as Minister of Research and Education. There being a dearth of other candidates here, I shan't resign the post just yet; but if I may make a recommendation, it may be wise to shut down the inactive Ministries, which would likely include (at the least) both MoRE and the Ministry of Trade. The running of the Shireroth Standardized History Initiative Team, whether inside or outside the scope of MoRE, is something I will try to continue with, but MoRE itself is something I have no idea how to change for the better.

All is forgiven. No, you have not been removed from your ministry jobs. As long as you are back, we can pretend you never left. Please don't give us that kind of concern again. I was worried about you because it appeared to all of us that you had just disappeared off the face of the earth. You have been too important to this nation, and have been liked too well, to just leave like that, with no word to anyone. When you return from your vacation, we will be here, anxious to hear what you want to see in this country.
