Our national candy ought to be Altoids Sours: Mango.

I have not seen them mentioned on this board before.
just because something is mango related, does not mean it is shireroth related.

The National Candy of Shireroth will be the Shirebar.
Its ingredients will be chocolate, granola, mango jelly, and nuts.

Questions: what sort of nuts? Dark or light chocolate? Crunchy or chewy granola?!

Sounds wonderful. Maybe someone can actually come up with a recipe for the Shirebar so we can really eat it. And for those of us who cannot eat dairy or chocolate, perhaps one without the real butter and the chocolate. That would be like a jam-filled grannola and trailmix bar.

Gods, if only I had mango jelly, I vould probably do this. I have peanuts here at the house, and granola bars, as well as some chocolate chips I could melt down. (I think I have some orange marmalade, though.)

Reese's Pieces aren't sold that much around anywhere these days. Mostly it's just the peanut butter cups.
