Eurovision tonight

Post by andelarion »

Who's going to watch it? :kaiser

I will, I know I'm sad, but it's a tradition, no matter how pathetic it is.

Eh, it's better than American Idol.

I did not watch it. however, as I was on the way to the kitchen, I did pause infront of the tv downstairs to see what was going on.
I saw a few seconds of that finnish group, thought "how the hell did they get in"? and walked off.

what I now want to know is, who the hell voted for them?

They ripped it off from the Byzantines. Armenia is better.

But the Byzantine eagle isn't black.

Regardless of whether the eagle is black or otherwise, the double-headed eagle motif is distinctly Byzantine. I would expect Your Holiness to be better informed. :no

Albania didn't make it to the final, so they didn't give points.

Conglacio, the UK's act was much worse than Lordi. It was awful. 'Daz Sampson' :P

Yes, Albania did give points. All participating countries give points in the final whether they qualified or not.

I saw a bit of the UK's entry on some website...
It seems to me that Britain's selection team are using the tactic of "find the least talented artists in the country".

Rock and Roll Angels bring that
HARD ROCK HALLELUJAH

Btw, Turkey gave Armenia 10 points. Armenia gave Turkey 0 points (otherwise would have meant way too many surprises for one night)
