A new Kaiser.

Post by Kaiser Alejian II »

I have found myself much less willing to do things as Kaiser then I thought I would want to. Perhaps i'm too old fashioned, or perhaps I just dont have the cahones to do what needs to get done. Either way, I am just *too* status quo-ey for right now. I'm much better after a crazed kaiser who's really upset things. Heh. Either way, anyone who wants to be kaiser, send a PM to my box detailing that you:

1. Are interested.
2. You are willing to give up all citizenships for Kaiserhood.
3. What you want to do with said kaiserhood.

You have one week starting today (May 1st)

P.S. It doesn't have to be long and flowery, just basics are all I need.

How awful that you say this in the week where I actually have to work much in school. Oh well, finals will be over in a week from tommarow. Oh well, sent.

I have no interest in it myself anyway, but I'd just like to point out that advertising for applications around school and college exam time probably didn't help.
I dislike arguments: they are always vulgar, and often convincing.

I would normally apply, but at this point I don't trust myself to do a good job. As noted elsewhere, we need a Kaiser who is willing to step forth and try new things, and I tend to be a tad too status-quo-y, too indecisive, or too lazy (or, at times, some combination of the above) for that kind of role.

But when you require benevolence, understanding, and/or arbitration, do give me a call. :kaiser

Ofcourse I want to be Kaiser, but I know it would not be a good idea. I am not active enough now, got course work I need to be doing, and will be starting a new job soon.

Like Conglacio, I want to be Kaiser, but unlike Conglacio, I can't because I don't want to give up Antican citizenship.

I think the traditional sneaky underhanded trick has been to resign foreign citizenship, become Kaiser, use your Kaiserial powers to revoke the decree requiring foreign citizenship, and then go back into your foreign country.

Actually, I belive it was more like this: Resign foreign citizenship, become Kaiser, then once you abdicate, go back into your foreign citizenships.

Oh, but you see, there's too much risk of not being chosen Kaiser and then the Anticans not liking me enough to grant me citizenship.

Yeah, Antican citizenship is not something to be taken lightly.

I wonder who the other person who wanted to be Kaiser was.

Besides, I think we passed a law in Antica that no-one who served a major government position in Shireroth would be able to retain citizenship, so, there's my prospects for Kaisership down the drain.

*checks* Nope. The final version of the bill you mention does not have that, although it was discussed. I'm annoyed that they made it Shirerothian-specific at first, as the wording should have been for all nations instead without mentioning Shireroth explicitly.

Regardless, we have restrictions on government positions too, although not as strict. Nobles and Ministers have a maximum of two citizenships, Kaiser and Steward must have one citizenship.

I do not want to be Kaiser.

I am quite content musing at my own pace with Lac Glacei and Bjorngard.
