That test sucks. Too American and thus vague, the labels of "Democrat" and "Republican" are too stupid. Take the one at politicalcompass instead.

Even looking at it, it has Fascism on the opposite of Totalitarianism!? Socialism on the same wing as Totalitarianism? Retarded.

It makes more sense if you know what the arrows mean. The vertical one is economic freedom, and the horizontal one is social freedom/personal freedom. I think the socialism shown there is the kind you find in Scandanavia (if I'm reading it right), and the fascism and totalitarianism make sense if you analyze their placement more.

I scored somewhere on the centrist side of democrat.
