Who likes us?

In order to more fully assess our stagnant nation and how to fix it, it may help to learn a bit more about our international stance and how other nations are dealing with the supposed worldwide activity drain. How are we with the Grand Commonwealth? Does the Republic like us yet? And if not, why?

I'd like to revive the Diplocorps but have yet to figure out a way to make sure it's agents are true to their obligations. In the meantime, anyone who has a dual citizenship or who is otherwise knowledgeable about the other nations of Micras, please give me some info on what's up.

Well, no one really dislikes us these days, but no one loves us either. The GC is still technically our rival but we haven't been doing anything against each other for a long while. Antica might hate us in the future because Delphi's a citizen, but since at the present he's on trial and very inactive, they're inclined to be friendly to us. Natopia should like us but they signed a nonalignment thing which means they have reached a level of enlightenment beyond liking or hating people. The CIS seems to be on our side but I haven't talked to them much. Gotzborg has its usual polite indifference. And if there are other countries around that have opinions about us, they're not important enough for me to remember they exist at the moment.

Im Currently an emmjisary to Alexandria as a lac Glacein and although they're not the kind of micronation I'd join they dont seem to care if they know at all about Shireroth...

Also, recently an emmissary from Matbaa (i beleive thats right) showed up in Lac GLacei and apparently they're very close to usa on the map and are aware of tus. I havent visited personally but hey dont seem hostile initialy. Thats all I know, of what little I do.

I talked with Steven last night asking how Antica felt about us, and he said that the stall in the trial is inclining them to *not* like us. Granted, it's Steven, but it shows that there's a part of them that is still sore about the Delphi issue. I looked around their forums and they're actually quite active right now.

The GC. We should think up some friendly way to use the rivalry in something, like a Bomberman tournament (ALA FIoJ, if I remember what I was told correctly.)I still wish someone would figure out how to run one of those.

I will get in touch with Gotzborg soon, since they supposedly still like me, and I'll see if they have any ideas on boosting activity. And I'm really anxious about that MoMA collaboration idea.

A bit more info about the CIS would be nice. Matbaa rings a bell, some info about them would be nice too.

Well, tell them that I consider fairness to be more important than speeding up the trial, and having a sinus infection making rational thought nearly impossible was not conducive to fairness. If they have a problem with that, they can take it up with said sinus infection, which I have had since JANUARY, and been fighting with increasingly strong antibiotics for well over a month.

The trial will get back on schedule early next week, I believe.

About two-thirds of the MCS' members don't like you. They think you're hogging all the land. And that also applies to the GC, so don't think I'm just poking at you guys. I get the flak for "letting Shireroth and the GC keep all that land".

The land issue seems to be the most poignent factor in people disliking Shireroth.

That and we have Bill. That's like hiring Hugh Hefner to participate in Barney's Magic Playground. :P

Two of the three newly created YAMO's seem to be on a course to try and confront us in the CIS. They're very weak and losely banded and full of little tiny nations with a quite a few active citizens. I know it may seem unorthodox to some, but since they're being so hostile and since one of them (the CWOM) are rumoured to have made a declaration of war:

Fancy creating an Alliance and then we can rake some of their citizens in the event of a full declaration of war? Not only would it boost our respective activities but it would also be doing a good job to international security getting rid of these many one man childish nations.

We in the CIS have been getting the same silly negative views for the same silly reasons as Shireroth, and we wish our Confederacy to have strong links with your Empire in working together for our mutual needs.

Hey, is this a evil taking over the world meeting or a blooming wine tasting club?

We could make a lot of evil money for our plan if Shireroth starts making coffe-places called 'Shirebucks' in every micronation and then we make a big 'Shirebucks' tower and conduct all the united evil plotting there.

Either that or inside an active volcano, we aren't picky in the CIS whatever's best for you guys...

Why can't it be both? As far as the coffee-idea, it's so deliciously evil that I must ask for more evil heat and less evil foam...*unscrews the lid of another bottle of Manischewitz (if I'm not mistaken, this wine has a twist-off metal cap, instead of a cork...how cheap and evil we are!
