Petition Regarding Elwynn
Seeing as the entire Duchy appears to have either gone inactive or emmigrated, I move that Elwynn's feudal contract be declared null and void.

Firstly, I recommend bringing this to the Judex so that I can rule on it as an official case.
Second, I will not rule to dissolve the feudal contract unless I can be convinced that no one is left who wants to keep Elwynn after strenuous efforts have been made to contact everyone who was a citizen there. I don't want a repeat of the Goldshire incident where no one even spoke to Zary about Goldshire being annihilated and absorbed into Brookshire, when Erik, Alex, and (to a lesser extent since she emmigrated) Jadie were still going to school with him and dating him, respectively. The idea that no one spoke up at all until he suddenly came back from LOA with no Duchy to return to and no involvement or say in the process of dissolving it made me quite upset.
So, James, the proper place for this movement would be in the Judex. I would like to see a full explanation of what has happened to all of Elwynn's citizens and give them an opportunity to speak up, and then I will make a ruling on whether its contract should be dissolved.

Right, first of all my apologies for the absence - largely due to the down turn in relations lately. Anyhow I have discussed this with Harald and we are of the opinion that we owe it to Ric to preserve the culture and institutions he created in Elwynn and the history that it represents.
However, be advised that most of the activity there will be in Elwynn will be in the continuation of the Phoenix Forest novella.
