Quotes for the Microscope back cover

Post by osmose1000 »

Alright, I've got the front cover for the Microscope book done, but I'm in need of quotes for the back, since there's nothing else I can think of to put there besides a summary.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I've formatted Scott's wonderful book to be printed by http://www.lulu.com. I know I'm not the only one who thinks owning the first book to be published by Scott Alexander is nifty.

Anywho, at this point there's only three things I need:

1.Someone who can convert it to the proper PDF form. Dean's on this, whenever he gets to it, so this is done.

Speaking of which, if you see this, Greg, make sure that the PDF is set to embed fonts and not to embed them as subsets. And see if it'll allow you to convert it to PDF 1.3, or PDF's working with Acrobat 4.

2.The three images used at the bottom of the cover included with Microscope. The size of the printing image is really friggen' big, so I need the largest one's available. (To get an idea, the single front cover picture is 1913 x 2925)

3. Stuff for the back cover. I'ma get a summary from Scott and quotes from here.

So you need quotes from the book, or quotes of people raving about the book?

But they need to be noteable sources... At least in micronations. like someone speaking on behalf of a paper or such.

When was the last time you read a quote on the back cover and it was completely correct?

Of course. Lemme just get Newsweek to quote this...

I could care less who says it, just that I get some quotes. Who am I trying to impress? This isn't making money or anything.
