Imperial Decree #212: Imperial Leave of Absence

Post by Kaiseress Semisa I »

I need a break from this. I'll be present in passing infrequently, but I won't be able to perform as I should to be a good Kaiseress. So, I hereby hand the reins to my Steward, Baron Greg Russell of the Holy Lands of Shireroth.

May he reign in my stead while I am gone.

By My Hand:

Kaiseress Semisa, the Resurrector: First of the Name.

I hope you have a good vacation, Kaiseress. Have you any idea when you shall be returning?

VIVAT REGINA!

Even though you're a kaiseress and not a queen...but I didn't know the Latin word for kaiseress...as a matter of fact I doubt there is one.

Well, you know where the word "Kaiser" comes from, right?

(if not, it's "Caesar")

Of course, Delphi. Even the shabbiest low-rent don could tell you that. But the term "Kaiser" means emperor, whereas the Latin Caesars, while still basically emperors, did not hold exactly that position and so the meaning is not truly the same.

But linguisticly.. Ceaser is the root for Kaiser.

And you people know nothing of Kaiser's on LoA.. I took one that lasted a month once.. left a Steward in charge, that's what they are there for.

Or was it a month? oh nevermind.
