Ardashir, and his punishment

Post by Scott Alexander »

Trials in Babkha take forever and a Wednesday to finish. SHINE's "Operation: Golden Haddock" is nearing its conclusion and I believe that a very talented and experienced micronationalist will be joining Shireroth soon. Ze would make an excellent noble, so I think I'll demote Ardashir and place zir in charge of Elwynn. If we do this, I believe we can consider Ardashir punished enough from Shireroth's point of view and not worry about a trial or anything.Do I have the Kaiser's approval here? I would prefer this not leaving this forum, as the micronationalist who I am trying to get to immigrate has changed zir mind once before and may not come after all, and if that happened we would need another plan.

Insentive... like attracting the best actors to our movie. Without the right motivation we wont get A list, we'll get B list. (which isn't allways bad, but you get the point...)

I had no intention of removing Ardishir, but merely of chastising him with some temporary punishment. However, since he is your baron you may remove him if you like for whatever reason you feel just to do so (or even if you don't have a fair cause). My advice on the issue is as follows: seeing as his actions have caused no noticible harm to Shireroth, I would be inclined to simply revoke his voting priveleges or restrict him from speaking in the Landsraad for designated amount of time, mostly to make an example of him so that other nobles know how they are to behave on the intermicronational level. Removing him entirely would seem a bit harsh and could appear tyrannical. However, he is your baron and I will not interfere with the proceedings of your duchy if you believe it necesary to dispose of Ardishir. I see. You make a good point.I will probably do as you say.It also remains to be seen how active Ardashir intends to be. I have heard rumors that he may have been turned off of micronationalism by recent events.

Ardashir has decided to concentrate more on Babkha and has asked me to replace him, though he's staying on as a citizen. I've made Aurefiction the new Baroness.
